You know those super cute Sunday Swap & Farmer’s Market parties everyone has been doing lately where everyone brings a small homemade goodie to exchange with friends? Oh my goodness how lovely! I love this idea because each guest gets to get creative, share a recipe or craft with others, go home with lots of goodies, AND you have a built in activity for your party. It is the perfect idea! BUT WAIT!!!! What would you bring to a farmers market party? Well…I have a few ideas.
These 4 cute homemade goodies are amazing for holiday gifts as well!
Supplies:
Before we get started, I want to share all the supplies I used for these homemade gifts. Below you’ll find cute ribbons, honey jars, & baggies to package your gifts in!
Homemade Marshmallows
Smore’s! Hot Cocoa! Rice Krispie treats oh my!! Homemade marshmallows are the PERFECT gift for those you love. They are the perfect year round gift. Enjoy them in the summer with smore’s or even in the winter with hot cocoa. Are you seeing the vision now? I’m sure you are! But wait - it gets BETTER!! These marshmallows are so much easier than you’d think to make! I’ll add the recipe below for ya!
Whipped Honey
Whipped honey is such a lovely gift to give to friends! When honey is whipped, it just gets an even creamier texture and a beautiful cream color!
The vanilla extract will become much darker with time!
Homemade Vanilla Extract
I first received a bottle of homemade vanilla during Christmas time a few years ago! Since then, I have reached for it at least 100 times! This is such an easy & functional gift to give to those you love + it looks sooo cute on the kitchen counter. It’s pretty much decor! The best best best part is that all you need to do is top off the vanilla with more over time for a gift that literally keeps on giving. After around 12 months, adding more beans will continue to deepen the flavor!
To make this, you’ll only need vanilla beans and vodka! Crazy right?! Now the hard part is the wait. You will need to wait around 6 months for this to be usable SO if you want to gift these for Christmas, start now! Ahhh yes…you see? I gave you something to look forward to haha! Anyways, once you finish making this, store it in a dark place and give it a good shake about once a week.
In 6 months you’ll have the perfect bottle of vanilla extract for all your bakes & as an adorable piece of decor!!
Whipped Honey Cinnamon Butter
Sweet, creamy, and perfectly fluffy, this Whipped Honey Cinnamon Butter is the easiest way to make any basket of warm bread feel extra special. Made with just a handful of pantry staples, it's light, airy, and melts beautifully over homemade rolls, biscuits, cornbread, pancakes, waffles, or thick slices of fresh sourdough. Whether you're serving it at a holiday dinner, weekend brunch, or packaging it into little jars as a thoughtful homemade gift, this butter is guaranteed to disappear quickly!
