Garden-Inspired Flower Pot Charcuterie Cups

Also this would be so cute for one of those “Locally grown” garden themed baby showers!!!

Garden Inspired Flower Pot Charcuterie Cups

These garden inspired flower pot charcuterie cups are one of my favorite ways to make a snack board feel a little more playful and special. They are easy to assemble, really pretty on a table, and perfect for spring hosting, garden parties, brunches, or bridal events. I love that each one feels like its own little arrangement with layers of cheese, fruit, crackers, herbs, and edible flowers tucked into mini terra cotta pots.

Charcuterie boards are always the best savory snack to serve at gatherings and I have found that when I do personal charcuteries…they go first!! Everyone loves these! Here’s a little spring twist on personal charcuterie cups :)

Ingredients

For the cups

Mini terra cotta pots
Arugula (for the base layer)
Parchment paper or food safe liner if needed

For the cheese

Colby jack cheese sticks
White cheddar slices or sticks
Havarti, gouda, or provolone slices (for rolling)
Mozzarella pearls

For the meat

Salami (for folding and skewers)
Prosciutto
Turkey or ham

For the crunch

Crackers (square + round)
Flatbread crackers or breadsticks

For the fruit

Strawberries (sliced into rounds)
Blackberries
Apple or pear slices

For greens and herbs

Radicchio leaves
Arugula (also used as the base)
Fresh rosemary sprigs

For garnish

Chamomile flowers
Edible flowers (optional)

Instructions

1. Prep the pots

Add a small handful of arugula to the bottom of each pot. This creates a natural base and helps everything sit upright while giving that garden look.

2. Build your skewers

Create small skewers using toothpicks or cocktail picks.

Layer combinations like:

  • Blackberry + strawberry slice

  • Mozzarella pearl + folded salami

  • Rolled cheese + salami

Make little salami and cheese roses!! These are SO easy and so cute! The tutorial is on my Instagram!

These add height and make the cups feel more interactive and fun.

3. Add structure

Place crackers, breadsticks, and cheese sticks toward the back of each pot to create height.

4. Add meats and cheese

Fold or roll the meats and tuck them in around the structure pieces. Add mozzarella pearls throughout for soft texture.

5. Layer in fruit

Add strawberries, blackberries, and sliced fruit to fill in gaps and bring in color.

6. Add greens

Tuck in radicchio and extra arugula to soften everything and make it feel full and layered.

7. Finish with details

Place the skewers into each pot so they stand out visually.

Top with chamomile flowers and rosemary sprigs for that garden inspired look.

Tips

Build these like little edible bouquets. Start with a base, add structure, then tuck in smaller details.
